We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals that have a strong desire to train to become a certified John Deere diesel technician.

Selected applicants will receive full-time training and experience at a one of our Iowa locations. The apprenticeship program is a 1 year training program that requires both on-the-job and online training to become a certified John Deere diesel technician.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a strong desire to become a diesel technician, availability to work full time and a great work ethic.

Preferred qualifications include a mechanical background, experience in the agricultural industry and working on John Deere products.

This is a contracted training program in collaboration with the State of South Dakota. During the 1 year period, you will enjoy the full spectrum of pay and benefits that include scheduled pay raises, medical, dental, vision and life insurances, short term disability, PTO, paid holidays and 401k with a company match.
